so today is another conquest
i wake up into my own skin
it feels good to be home once again
all those nights spent awake with people
your pretty sure are the love's of your life
the ones that care.
they take a toll on you then all you want
to do is have a quiet evening alone
think about your progression over the
first month of this brand new year
it's amazing how one can change body and mind.
theres more to this life then we see
so as i take the time and relax for this weekend
i can begin to remember why im here,
take a load off my shoulders finally.
i need closure. i need comfort.
